Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate daily shop activities, including vehicle repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
- Manage shop personnel, including mechanics, technicians, and apprentices, by providing training, guidance, and feedback.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring effective communication and high customer satisfaction.
- Manage shop resources, including parts, equipment, and inventory, to ensure an efficient and cost-effective workflow.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on shop operations, costs, revenue, and performance metrics.
Job Experience
- At least 3 years of experience as a Shop Manager or similar leadership role in an automotive environment.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
- Solid knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance processes and procedures.
- Experience managing inventory and budgets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, pressured environment.
